Did you know traditional glitters are made of microplastics? Yup, these toxic, plastic particles often end up in our oceans and waterways damaging marine wildlife and wreaking havoc on the environment.

At Lush, we use ingredients like synthetic fluorphlogopite (aka synthetic mica) to give products shimmer and shine for an unforgettable time. Synthetic mica is a person-made material that is 100% plastic free and made up of natural minerals that don't harm the environment.
